And the winner of my new start is:
Catch The Wind! Oooooo ahhh…. I’m so glad I’m almost done with the ribbons. They’re too damn fussy. But so far the placement looks good, so I’m a happy girl.
I spent most of the day (well only 2 hours, but it seemed a hell of a lot longer) Christmas shopping. I hate people. Really. And then it started pouring down rain. I’m cursed. I’m not sure what I did in a past life to deserve this, but it must’ve been pretty damn bad. Maybe I was one of the Mongol Horde.
Ds is done. Dh probably is. And if Cousin Joe decides to show up for Christmas (which reminds me, I need to call him ’cause apparently he can’t manage to call me back) I’ll have to run out and get him a little something to open. In an example of how brilliantly smart I am, Christmas dinner will be catered. It’s not a Holiday if I have to spend 3 or 4 hours in the kitchen. So we’ll be having a pan of lasagna and some cannoli from our favorite little Italian restaurant; add in bread & butter and a really big bottle of Lambrusco and we’ve got ourselves a dinner.
So tomorrow will be spent cleaning because:
A. The house needs it.
B. Cousin Joe might show up which means
C. I won’t spend the time I want to stitching.
Oh crap, I still need to bake some cookies too…
