The whole forest has the hiccups and reeks of bad beer.

No I have no idea what that means, but it is something to think about. (this was the header in a spam email btw)

I spent the weekend in my jammies. I can not remember the last time I did that. It was lovely. Dh left yesterday for a trip to San Francisco, so I had lots of peace and quiet (ds was playing on his computer and up stairs for most of the day) to read and stitch and nap. I worked on my Pay It Forward (all I can say is the next piece I work on will not use DMC 321). I finished Jim Butcher’s White Night (oh how I love Harry). And my nap was a nice little 1/2 hour.

I took yesterday off exercise. I worked out every day for the past 6 so I think I earned it. I was back at Curves this morning though. And my week of 1200 calories is going well. I’ve dropped 3.8 lbs since Friday. I can not wait till this weekend though, I’ll be back to 1600 calories and I’ll have my splurge day (when I get to eat out once) Saturday. It’s going to be just me and the ds again this weekend, dh is going to his little sister’s college graduation.

I’m itching pretty badly to get back to ATS, but I’ve got to stitch up my Dragon Dreams Exchange piece first. 😦 Not that I don’t want to do the exchange, I just don’t want to do it now. *sigh* Mainly because I don’t know if I have a piece of fabric for it. I know, I’ve got a 10 lb box full of cross stitch fabric, but I don’t know if I have the *right* piece. And I’m really trying very hard not to buy anything right now. Figures Mirabilia would come out with a new mermaid… and Needlecraft Corner would have the kit for $47 (minus fabric, and I would have to buy a new piece of fabby for this; I’ve been thinking about SMF’s Mermaid’s Garden…)

Maybe if I’m a very lucky Mom, dh & ds will take the
HINT (Toll free in U.S. & Canada:1-888-423-8008)and buy me my gift for Mom’s Day from Needlecraft Corner. 😉

I suspect the forest denizens managed to get onto that sunken freighter in Canada that was found to have a hold full of intact but uber-skunky bottles…

The new Mermaid definitely has potential. Her model pictures are not the greatest, so I’m waiting to see an actual WIP from someone (preferably on different fabric) before I make up my mind.

I like the new mermaid too. I should get back to working on Deepest Love. She has only been a WIP for a zillion years.

Incidentally, shoe porn is up in my blog.
