I've been a Good Girl

Enchanted Dreamer all done

and finished Marjean’s Mira RR *gasp* last night. I know! I can hardly believe it myself. I’m not done done with it though. Another stitcher became ill during the course of the RR and wasn’t able to complete her July Amethyst Fairy and since I had the chart and after checking my stash had all the materials (which is a testament to my Cross Stitch Habit) I decided to finish this little bit up. I figured if it was my RR I’d rather have it back on time and complete than early and unfinished.

And everyone knows Good Girls get Good Things. My LNS is back & unpacking from Market. Being such a Good Girl I helped her out and took these off her hands so she didn’t have to go to the trouble of putting them out on the sales floor.

OMG Turtles!!!!

Me, being me… I can’t stitch them in green. I don’t *like* green. And everyone else (meaning the sane) will be stitching them in green. So mine will be Periwinkle. That’s Weeks Periwinkle wook, #5 perle and floss. The linen in 32ct. Lavender Bliss, and the Mill Hills are what I picked off the shelf that looked like they’d match.  I can hardly wait to get started on this. I’m hoping no later than the end of March.

Letters from the sampler

When I saw this in Market pre-views I knew I would be coming home with me. I NEED it for A New Beginning.

My own little hooter

I know, this wasn’t a Market release, but he followed me home. That and the scissor goes with the turtles too. I had to stop myself from buying two.

It’s an illness I tells ya!

That linen is gorgeous. I love those turtles too. Alas my finishing skills are nil, so I’ll just admire yours when they are finished. That owl is great – very retro. Enjoy your new stash.

Hi! I found your blog through the Fair & Square member profiles – welcome! 🙂

I like green, it’s my favorite color, but periwinkle turtles sounds GREAT. Can’t wait to see them 😉
