Since Wednesday

I have baked Nigella’s Nectarine and Blueberry Galette:

Yummy!
It was ridiculously easy and delicious!

I have shopped. (quel surprise!)

bunny bunny bunny
With My Needle’s Bunnies in the Garden to feed my bunny fetish. kinky And Cricket Collection’s Wedding Angels. I don’t really like the design, the nest with the eggs is cute, but I bought it for a quote by Homer that was inside the chart (and sadly not charted). “For there is nothing greater and better than this -when a husband and wife keep a household in oneness of mind, a great woe to their enemies and joy to their friends, and win high renown.” That’s going on my & dh’s wedding sampler, that is if I ever pick one out and actually stitch it.

I said bunny FETISH
Sweetheart Tree’s Blue Mountain Bunny which was a must have from Market this year. And some beads and braid thrown in for my MiraRR.

Double Flip
And last but not least my floss toss for LK’s Double Flips. I’ll be stitching these up on Bo-Peep Pink Lugana ’cause I like the name Bo-Peep Pink. That and while I’ve seen everyone’s WIPs of this on Lambswool and they look nice, I just think something besides Lambswool would be better. But we’ll wait and see what my WIP looks like and see if I’ve made a big mistake.

Now! On to the Mirabilia Round Robin (again)

Finished except for the framing
That’s MINE!!! All the stitching is done Done DONE!

I did the beading on Summer.

Swirly goodness
I added the swirl from Cottage Garden Fairy’s wand to fill in the right hand dead space.

I'm not really mooning you
And I put in the moon from the staff of Santa’s Magic on the left. This I had to add the backstitching around, the contrast between the braid and my fabric (Silkweaver’s Angels Song) just wasn’t enough. I debated changing the braid but couldn’t find one in my stash that I liked and the ones that had enough contrast were too dark; so backstitching it was.

A big thank you to everyone who was part of the Mirabilia Round Robin! (last night I came up with a great idea for the next MiraRR, I just can’t stop…)
