Just a bit crabby

only because the September block isn’t done yet. It is a *perfect* day here in Houston. Maybe Mother Nature’s way of saying “Sorry about the rain, here have a nice day.” We’ve turned the ac off, the windows are open and we’re going to venture out to the stores here in a bit. Some of them may even be open! Who cares, it’s a fabulous day and while we could stand to have a new gallon of milk and loaf of bread, if I can’t get them yet, we’ll still be fine. Hell, I might even bake of loaf myself today if I can’t find any.

Further proof my luck has changed, I only had to frog maybe 6 stitches on the August  block of Crabby while I watched the Steelers go 2-0 last night against the Browns. (And it was the first “normal” programing the local NBC station has had on since Friday – miracles can happen!)

Win’s school is closed until Wednesday. Andy’s is supposed to re-open Tuesday, but I’m not 100% sure that’ll happen. My needle-turn applique class has been re-scheduled. I’ll call the shop (or stop by) tomorrow and see what days she’s moving it to. Today was also supposed to be day 1 of the Six Week Solution Class that I’m teaching again @ Curves, but Curves is closed and this week isn’t exactly the best time to start something new, so I’ll be calling all the ladies in the class and telling them they have a 1 week reprieve.

But you know what, none of this is bugging me. My family is fine, my house is fine and it is a beautiful day and I’m going to enjoy it to its fullest. Heck, I may even start pressure washing the deck today too!

The August block looks great! I’m so relieved that you guys make it through with only minor drama.
