but it is a finish:
This is Paix by Little House Needleworks (charity chart for Unicef) for Annette’s WNRR. I loved Annette’s fabric, I’m not sure if it was a hand-dye but it seemed to have a little bit of variation to it, and once I put the snow flakes on, it just popped. She also asked that we put out initials somewhere on the block, and in the interest of balance I added her’s too. I think it turned out super cute. Annette’s RR is seperate pieces of fabric for each stitcher so that’s why I went ahead and stitched the border, if it had been on one large piece of fabric I would’ve left that off. But with each one being a stand alone I thought the border would work ok.
And have you seen it yet? The new Mirabilia:
Bluebeard’s Mermaid. I emailed Dreama @ Needlecraft Corner within 5 minutes of seeing it for the first time. She’s getting back to me this afternoon with the kit price (minus fabric) and she said it should be in the shop and shipping next Tuesday. I have an awesome solo from Silkweaver that I was going to use for Mermaid of Atlantis, but I think I’ll be using it for this one instead. I love Atlantis, but I love Bluebeard more. I’ll have to check and make sure the fabric is big enough this afternoon, because I will be stitching this as soon as it hits my house. I’ve been wanting to start a new Mira and just couldn’t pick one. Glad this one came along and picked for me.
