And yet more mermaid

Finished off beading the section of BBP that I have stitched last night. I didn’t attach the crystals, I’ll be saving them until the end, but I did lay them on so we could get a look at what the finished will look like.

I threw on a bobbin of white DMC so you can hold your own skein up to the monitor and adjust the color if you want to try to get a true read on the colors.

I’m planning on stitching her fin that is fanned up behind her next, finish off the beads that drip from her hand and then I’ll be ready to move the scroll bars.

And last night before dinner I embellished G.B.

You can barely see his smile in the picture, but I looks fine in person. I went with option 1, I figured if I didn’t think it was enough it’d be easy to add the bell later.

I’m hoping to stop by the quilt shop this afternoon after I get my nails done (the shops are a block apart) and pick up the batting, a marking pencil (I think you’re supposed to use a silver one for marking the quilting), thimble and thread for this guy. Keep your fingers crossed, I may be quilting by tomorrow!

Your mermaid is so gorgeous and how fortunate you must be to have a camera that picks up such nice detail, I really love being able to see these details. I purchased this chart and I think what I want to do with it is stitch the sea horses separately and frame them to match my Queen Mermaid and display them on the wall there with QM. One on each side under each sconce(you can see the photo of QM on my most recent post).
