Panic attacks

really get the blood flowing. Like when you can’t find a bag full of buttons, accessory packs and other assorted goodies. I just about pulled my entire guest craft room apart looking for the leftovers from Victoria Sampler’s Crimson Fire because I wanted the Kreniks from it to stitch the Angel’s sword on ATS. Turns out I didn’t like them and ended up using some Petite Treasure braid (that was not missing and I didn’t need to tear the room apart to find *sigh*).

Hmmm. Bad picture. And this was the best of 5 I took. I stitched the sword with PB02, the chart called for one of the gold hue GAST but I was stealing MelissaC’s blinged out sword idea. The sword also needs to be flaming. Why? Because my research said so. Wiki Eden, Wiki Cherubim. I backstitched around the sword with some red Petite Treasure braid and filled in with quarter stitches in an attempt to make the blade look smoother. Not sure how much I like this. I think it’s ok. I’ll want to take a better look at in a couple of days in daylight. A little distance from the stitching usually helps.

Tomorrow: yard work & BBP.

The sword looks nice to me. And you’re right. I often have to walk away from something to be able to make a good decision. Normally upon return I know what I want in a blink. And am happy with it.

Had to grin when reading how you tear apart a room to find something you didn’t want to use in the end. That could have been me…LOL.

Don’t you just hate when that happens? You tear your 15 stash areas apart (yes, in a perfect stitchy world there should only be ONE, lol) looking for something that you just *know* you have somewhere!!?!?? OK, sorry… inhale, exhale. 🙂

As for ATS, I think the sword looks terrific and I love that tree/serpent. Great job Missy!

I think your sword looks great as so all your additions/changes to ATS. I’m still guffawing over your very correct A&E. And don’t you hate going on a stash hunt, only to not need it afterall. I guess it would help if we kept everything in once place, but then where would the fun be, right?

Love the blinged out sword. And I agree, I often have to walk away from something and then see it from a distance before I can decide if I like it. I was totally that way with my Mermaids of the Deep Blue. Up close I hate it – she looks splotchy to me…but from farther away, it all blends and she looks fantastic. Speaking of that mermaid, I should get back to her.

Ok, am I the only one that thinks Adam is totally jealous of the angel (ahem)?!?!?

He looks good – I can just imagine the sparkly! Of course, I wouldn’t have kept the CF leftovers LOL

Looks good to me! I’m thinking of somehow trying to add jewels to that sword – like little tiny red ruby beads.

LOL at Annette! I have torn apart closets or rooms tons of times looking for that one stray thing I think will look fabulous only to decide – not so much. Glad I’m not the only one!
