I’m beginning to wonder if I’ll ever get a really good picture of this RR.

All the frames are complete. The bottom row l to r: Fern, Lilac & Lily. You’ve really got to see the braids in person to appreciate them, especially the ones that are reading dark in the picture. This picture was taken outside in sunlight too. *sigh*

Cloe up of Fern’s & Lilac’s blocks. Maybe some of the sparkle is showing in this picture? Whatever. I will start stitching Lilac sometime today. I pulled her threads last night. I think that I will be using every single thread and bead on her chart in this 30 x 80 area. I take that back, one of the blended needles isn’t used in this section. You just got to love Nora, bless her heart.

And to finish off the snaps of the framed pieces Mom sent me:

Crystal Water freebie from Victoria Sampler. She took the picture with it laying on edge, but she had the hardware mounted so that it’ll hang on point. Mom said the picture isn’t doing this one justice, the top mat is suede.

I did work on block 6 yesterday, no picture. I’m bored with taking pictures of this block. Finally, it only took what a dozen photos to bore me? lol I may or may not post another pic of it before it’s finished. Now, off to stitch on it and quit screwing around on the computer all morning.

Sorry your WIP is camera shy! The pictures are lovely though…

  3. I don’t know, Missy; I think the pic you took on the previous post showed the colors nicely and the sparkles showed well too. I am anxious to see how this one is going to turn out – it’ll be a stunner, I know. Your Crystal Water finished piece is so elegant!

It’s not easy to take pics of sparkling things. But I think I got a good impression – and I like it. Getting really curious now to see it growing.
Your house is lovely too. Block 6 should be finished this month with ease.
    Crystal Water looks fantastic

The photos of your Mira RR look great…better than no picture at all πŸ™‚ I am mega excited to see how the RR turns out.

Also, you are doing a great job on the background of your block. You could chant to yourself “I love doing big blocks of one colour! I love doing big blocks of one colour!” If you tell yourself enough surely it will come true!

What a gorgeous VS piece! I love the suede mat!

  7. Crystal Waters is GORGEOUS!!! I’m looking forward to pics of your RR as it gets stitched. If it turns up missing, I’ll confess now that I did it.

Missy I love those beaded frames and I can see them just fine. It will be fun to watch this RR progress.

Goodness Crystal Water is just stunning and the frame/mat is perfect. Beautifully stitched, too!

I think those frames are spectacular. I can’t wait to see them filled! I bet they are sooo sparkly. How fun. And you inspired me too, I pulled out my Mystery 9 and stitched on it yesterday.

“Bless her heart” – I read somewhere that when people say this they really mean “Damn her to hell!”. LOL I think your frames look great even if the pics aren’t doing them justice and I bet it’ll look even better once you get Lilac stitched in (bless her heart!) too. πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚
