Knock wood and all that, but I think I’m finally getting better. π Maybe all your good thoughts & the flowers Mom sent me yesterday have done the trick.
Yesterday I did a bit more stitching on Live Simply.
Bunny! I’m really enjoying this one. It’s simple, but with color changes just frequent enough to keep from being boring.
And after I stitched on that I brought Autumn’s Mira RR back out and worked on it. I finished this morning.
I stitched Fairy Idyll. While it’s not *bad* I’m just not loving it. I don’t know why, the colors work… maybe Idyll is one of those that needs to be bigger.
I think once it’s all stitched it’ll all come together and I won’t worry that I should’ve picked a different chart.
Fairy Idyll looks beautiful! I need to start considering what I’ll be stitching…
So glad you are feeling better π
Autumn’s RR looks like “The Brady Bunch” to me. Nice stitching!
How nice of your mom to send flowers!
You know, I really like Fairy Idyll, but I think I agree with you. Maybe it needs all the dress and the rest of it.
Your flowers are lovely – what a sweet mom! I think your choice of the Idyll Fairy is very pretty. I think it works well with the fabric and the stitching is perfect; what’s not to love. Glad you’re feeling better!
So glad to hear that you’re feeling better. Those flowers definitely could help- they’re lovely. And your stitching is lovely too – I love this piece.
everything looks great and glad that you are feeling better.
Dissenting opinion: I like Fairy Idyll. She’s sort of contrary. I can relate. π
Glad you are on the mend. Feeling icky is so not fun – especially in the summer heat. Flowers are very beautiful.
Fairy Idyll is like the sulky teen daughter of the Brady Bunch of fairies there – she doesn’t *want* to look at the camera. LOL
Pretty flowers! I’m glad you’re mending.
Finally you’re on the mend. It’s good to read that.
Very nice stitching!!!
“Brady Bunch!”–ROFL!
I think FI will fit in better once there are a few more stitched in. The Mira ladies have lots of different poses – looking this way and that and I think she just looks different because the only other face is looking straight on – once there is more variation in the piece I bet she will fit right in. π
