It's killing me…

not being able to share my finishes for Halloween! I finished another project for y’all & have another 1/2 completed. And! I also finished my HOE Halloween exchange. I’m very sad about this, I want to keep it.

Dh the ever helpful says “So, keep it.”

I wailed “But her name is stitched on it!!!”

Gonna go buy candy (on the way to the Dentist tomorrow – more on that later) for the package ’cause it is not Halloween without candy and pop it all in the mail tomorrow.

Other good things: Attn Knitters! More from Annette.  I’m starting Part 4 of my 25 Book Challenge. I didn’t start these lists until a couple three months into the year, which means I’ve probably already read 100 books. Wait I know I have, I haven’t been counting my re-reads and I’ve been doing a lot of that on my Kindle.

Now about the dentist; Win has a Herbst appliance in his mouth and tonight we had our first problem. Part of it fell out of his mouth. Oops. It’s ok in the short term, I did call the emergency number and since he isn’t bleeding or even having any pain it can wait until tomorrow to get fixed. The bad part of that (for me, I’m sure Win will love this part) because of screwy office hours and some personnel being out sick it might not get fixed until tomorrow afternoon. And since part of the Herbst is kind of just floating around loose in his mouth I’m thinking sending him to school might not be very productive. Fingers crossed that the 10am appointment will happen.

And yes, the Steelers very nearly killed me too.

Hope you get your appointment when you want it 😉

Can’t wait to see pics of your Halloween finishes !!! 🙂

PS: I ALWAYS forget to answer the question … grrrr

  2. I hope Win is okay with his appliance. The idea of something floating around in their mouths is a bit scary. I can’t wait to see who your recipient is on your stitching. I’m not even sure I’ve done all I’m supposed to to even enter your drawings so I’m sure it’s not going to be me but still, anxious to see what you’ve produced. Very generous of you, by the way ~ it’s very hard to give away something you really love. I’m not a stitch it twice kind of a gal so if I love it and give it away, it’s a real gift (at least in my mind)!

Hope all goes well with Win – have a great day!

Hope all goes well at the dentist.

I can’t believe how close to halloween it’s getting.

Hope that all goes well with Win and that appliance. Definitely sounds scary to have something floating around in his mouth! Can’t wait to see what you’ve made. I think that we’re all waiting with bated breath!

  5. This football season sucks much. DH and I have tickets to the Titans game this weekend, and I think I’m going with a bag over my head. If Peyton (my fellow UT alum and hero) wasn’t the opponent, I’m not sure I’d even go.

I can’t figure out how you are so productive on both the stitching and reading fronts. I know the Kindle has made my reading rate faster, but I’m no where near your light speed. Let me just say that I am insanely jealous. But I still love you.

Sight unseen, I know your Halloween finishes are awesome and will inspire all of us Halloween lovers to enter the drawing or just stitch something ourselves 😉

It seems I’ve read a lot more this year and I know you have some of the credit or the blame, whichever you want! LOL

Hope the appt went smoothly, I’ll just have to be patient to see your finishes – I don’t do much Halloween stitching myself, but love to oohh an ahh over everyone else’s. 🙂

Ah, the Steelers…I LOVE them but they are going to kill me this season!!! They play 3 quarters of great football and then don’t show up for the 4th quarter…Sheesh!!

I hope the appointment went well!

I’ve added your 13 Days of Halloween logo to my blog and mentioned it in my latest post. I know you aren’t ready yet, but your excitement about it has excited me. I love Halloween.
