I *had to* hit the LNS today to pick up some necessary beads and as usual a few other things followed me home.
Jenny Bean!!!!!!!!!!!! No threads, while I love the color names and like the colors themselves; I hate limited edition thread packs and by buying one I would be rewarding said limited edition. I’ll be using my own picks for this little lady. Maybe I can make this work from Dinky Dyes oops packs… 3 in 1 little Just Nan’s from the clearance 3 bucks baby! But an even better deal on that Little House, I don’t like the design at all but it comes with 5 full size Crescent Colors for $6 (clearance FTW!). Two skeins of Old Blue Paint, I am serious about stitching Wedding Row again for me & the dh. Two ornie size cuts of PTP Relic, again very cheap because they are small cuts. And not on the cheap those lovely black french mourning pins. I can’t wait to see how these look with crystals…
Oh and the beads I went there for:
Damn-it blurry…
That’s a little better, I stitched Waiting For The Ships down there in the corner. My needle, it smokes. π This is Rachel’s MiraRR.
And speaking of better pictures, Sharon let me know her giveaway arrived. Pop on over to her place to see a better picture than what I took.
*sigh*…you just had to go to the LNS?! I’m trying to surprise you and stuff!
Love Rachel’s RR…all these MiraRR’s are magnificent and reminds me I have Waiting for Ships in my stash.
Sharon’s little giveaway package was so cute. Scissor crypts…so clever!
Ohhh….Jenny Bean is a beautiful one. I’m tempted here too. Although I’m not really into Halloween, this one I might get and stitch too.
Waiting for the ships is looking fantastic. Rachel will be delighted.
OMG…the give away for Rachel is fantastic. And the story about her jealous friend hilarious.
I feel the same way about limited edition packs. Jenny also found her way into my stash after a trip to the LNS on Saturday. The owner didn’t notice it required the limited edition threads when she bought the charts to stock. I’ll probably try and stitch it with fibers in my stash as well.
I thought I was the only one who didn’t like limited edition packs. They drive me nuts.
I forgot how sweet Waiting for Ships face is. You did a lovely job.
Boy,those needles were smoking!! Nice work on Rachel’s RR.
and I love how stuff follows you home. How resistant will you be to the online needlework shop lol?
Ooooh, nice! I love ’em all, but especially Jenny Bean. I am jonesing to start that design soon.
I feel the same about limited edition colors. I don’t like feeling pressured to buy stash. Relic is such a perfect color. Thanks for turning me on to it.
Great stash Missy. I hear you on those limited edition packs too. Don’t like them and there are a world of threads to replace them with! Your block on Rachel’s piece is great too!
S-t-a-s-h!
Have you noticed that the lovely lady you added to the RR has quite the adam’s apple? π I wonder what’s up with that? π
I’m thinking of walking up to my LNS later today…and seeing if they have any sparklies suitable for adorning pins. The black ones you just bought are TO DIE FOR!!
Looks like more mermaid stitching is on tap for me…. π
I hadn’t seen Jenny Bean’s Halloween before… I love it! LOL
Ooooh, your stitching on the RR looks great! Good stash too! I’m not a big fan of those LHN charts but I wouldn’t have passed up that deal, either!
I didn’t order the Halloween Jenny Bean but I did order the Christmas one and can’t wait to get that.
Stash on sale is ALWAYS a good thing. Nice haul. I managed to get in and out of my LNS yesterday only paying for my reservation fee for the next Moonlight Stitching. Really. Nothing else followed me home.
Good job on the RR mermaid. You do have smokin’ needles.
You had some great things follow you home, lol
Gorgeous RR
Dear Missy Ann, I just wrote you the dearest comment complete with notes on how I was recovered from your Giveaway, on your wonderful Mermaid, and your smokin’ needles…but it seems I failed math and all my comment was erased. Suffice it to say that I adore you, Missy, and anything you stitch is awesome by me!! :] Except I just don’t get the draw of Jenny Bean. Of everything, I only was draw to the hinky thread names! LOL
Great new stash”
Your addition to the RR looks terrific. I love this RR idea and love looking at all the pictures I see of it on different blogs.
What I love most is that the gal who likes “sniff glue, worship satan” also likes cuties from Little House Needleworks. Ecclectic taste … a good thing!
I just LOVE LOVE LOVE how that stuff just happened to follow you home. We don’t have a decent LNS anymore so nothing can follow me home π¦
Love
