Spent a good bit of Sunday working on HoHRH. The voices in my head kept repeating the South Park bit with the cows when they “talk”, moo moo moo, mooooo. Or they were yak yak yak from the Farside cartoon. I was that kid that always moo’d at the cows when we drove by. That cartoon brought home the cows’ point of view.
Hmmm what else. Win went to his first rock ‘n roll concert last night. Andy took him (Mom stayed home to be old) to see AC/DC. $45 for a t-shirt. Puke. But a good time was had by all, and being Mom I gave orders that the kid had to wear ear plugs. I know, I never did – but do as I say not as I do. I also can not hear the mosquito ring tones on cell phones either, so point proven.
20 entries for the pincushion and Random # liked the gal who was late to the show. 😉 Cheryl I’ll get it mailed out to you today. (I think I have your address, if I don’t I’ll email you.)
Is that a…squirrel-chinchilla-mouse next to the Moo-Cow?
My earplug-wearing is about half-and-half. I do keep a bag of them in the medicine cabinet. How responsible of me!
I love the moo cow and really really want to start on this one but won’t let me until I have at least done some of my UFO. Love how your HOHRH is turning out.

Love this square!
The block is looking great Missy! And I think that you made a great decision to stay home. Those concerts are absolutely ear splitting!
Great progress. Living in rural WI I soon grew tired of mooing at all the cows as a kid. I’d have been mooing constantly. LOL
Congrats to Cheryl! Great progress on your HoHRH! Good you insist Win uses earplugs. The BF never did to concerts and now he is hard of hearing it drives me nuts! Always with the repeating. I should just tape myself into a recorder and play that instead!
Cute block.
I too “talked” to the cows. Funny thing is they answered. LOL
A lovely square, with one of those giant squirrels. I’m glad we don’t grow that that big around here. 😉
And speaking out around here, according to Baby Man (21 months old) cows either say “baa”, “meow” or “mmmooo” depending on his mood and how silly he is being. You just never know what an animal might say. 🙂
Congratulations to Cheryl on the pincushion win!
This is my favorite of the HRH blocks! I love that cow.
Your cow looks great. Now I’m going to be mooing the rest of the day. Congrats on perfect nine-patches, and on the super cute pirate quilt!!
I kinda have a thing for that cow. “Moooo” Yeah, me, too.
And, I WIN! Go me! Thank you muchly. I’m excited to see the pretty colors up close and personal. Oh, and better late to the party than not at all. 😉
i love this house cross stitch …what is the series? is it a sal or a kit or a chart? i would love to get it
