More progress:
The reason you may not remember this one is I worked on it the very first football game of the season. The Steelers’ Thursday night season kickoff, nine weeks ago. And then I didn’t touch it again until Saturday. The design is by MLI and the fabric is Silkweaver’s Skye reflections.
I also cut the pieces for the next block in the Sampler Quilt last night.
The colors are nice and true (at least on my screen) in this picture. Hopefully I’ll get this assembled tonight. Other than that, not much going on here today. Went and saw my Boondock Saints II. It was ok. I did like it, but it ain’t high art. Sexy men with big guns. It’s not even Freudian, I’ll say it straight up. I like sexy men with great big phallic symbols. 😉
Lookin’ Good.
I noticed that “Turkey” is King, now. Cake and Cotton will have to take a backseat.
That is a lovely little piece you are working on! It is stitching up beautifully.
Oh, your sampler quilt is going to be lovely, Missy Ann–love the pinks and greens that you’ve chosen.
And those Steelers–what can I say? Disheartening to say the least 😦
You were lucky to see BS II. Hubby wants to see it, but it is not playing anywhere near us. Not even in a 50 mile radius according to the internet. LOL!
Lovely progress on your MLI! And the quilt block–dang. Gorgeous colors!
Oooh, I like that quilt block. Excellent progress on Rose. You’ll have her finished in no time.
Very nice WIP! Your quilt has lovely colors too!
Glad you enjoyed the movie!
