Blog? Post? What is this blog post you speak of?

Yeah, I’ve been MIA for a bit. I have been on Facebook a bit, but in general I haven’t been doing much of anything.

Two starts and hopefully I’ll be back in the swing starting now.

HoHRH block 11

Mirabilia’s Bluebell which was a b-day present from the wonderful Annette!

Stitched on 28ct. Lugana SMF Treetops. This kit was a gift from Annette for my birthday yesterday (35th). So sweet of her. 😀 It’s been a really nice stitch so far and I think the flowers are the fussiest bit. There is a good bit of dress to stitch and the wings are 100% Krenik – but I think I can handle it.

Winter Rose is framed and was in my Great Aunt’s hands on Christmas.

$168.50. That includes $19 of shipping. OMFG – you can not beat it with a stick! I only wish I could see it in person. It went straight from Jill’s shop in UT to my Aunt in CT. Ah well, one of these years I’ll get to see it.  I think Mother’s Tree was framed for 4 years before I saw it in person.

Winter Rose turned out so well. I hope you get a chance to visit it and your aunt soon.

Oh, and thank your for the turkey advice. We actually were using a pre-stuffed bird that goes in the oven frozen (and is very little work). My main problem is that my oven is cold. I need to get a thermometer and adjust it. I’m still leaning towards take-out for next year, though. 🙂
