About that start something I shouldn't

bit in the last post. Am I covered if I started & finished it?

Not gonna pick apart my lacking machine sewing skills. Or the fact the only felt I have access to in TX (without involving mail order) is the cheap 25 cent a sheet stuff… I think it turned out cute. The pattern is not my own, that belongs to Betz White. You can buy it here like I did if you want it.

The fob is my own “design” and oh boy am I using that word loosely. Two muslin circles sewn & filled with crushed walnut shell. Two (slightly larger) felt circles, button and flowers attached. Blanket stitch together, don’t forget the ribbon. Easy peasy.

What brought this on? Talking to Mom yesterday she said needed a fob for her scissors because she keeps dropping them, so far no damage – but you know sooner or later the tips will get chipped. Started thinking about fobs, instead of thought of my Betz set and figured I could make a fob to match. ย I think it’s disgustingly cute & hopefully will get around to making myself a set.

And more market stuff I WANT.

Go Fly A Kite by Raise The Roof. Slightly snarky & cute; very me.

OK, that is completely fun and adorable! You get amnesty for the start since you finished it and it has a high cuteness quotient.

I’m in love with Go Fly a Kite. It’s on my market wish list, too. I’m not sure whether to hope my LNS has it when I go to get floss for NSTR this week or not. LOL
