This is what a productive weekend looks like

at least at my house.

I’ve finished stitching on the Mira RRs!!! The treasures etc that I had to order for Gardenia arrived Friday so I took the hint and got to stitching.

Little miss is blinged out!

She fits right in. πŸ˜€

Then I decided enough was enough and I was going to get caught up on my LK flip it blocks.

Started remember around 5 pm, finished give at 11:40pm. And I took a hour (at least) break in there. These stitch quick!

I was rollin’ this weekend. Today I cut out all the fabric for my tote bag.

Tomorrow I need to cut all the interfacings (19 pieces) and iron them to their matching fabrics, we’re sewing the bags together Tuesday at quilt group so this has to be done. I also need to run out to the hardware store and buy my dowels (they’re used for structuring the opening edges of the bag). I also need to get in there and clean the kitchen; I mean it doesn’t stink – but there are Β a few dishes piled up in the sink. But in my defense I had to grocery shop today and I did do 3 loads of laundry.

  1. Wow, Missy! You were soooo productive this week. I love your Mira selection, she’s so pretty. Can’t wait to see your tote come together. I have about 3 quilts that need finishing, too. Hugs, Deb

If I hate on you for your productivity, it’s just because I’m really jealous. LOL. Those fabrics for you bag are one of my favorite color combinations. LOVE. Stitiching is wonderful as always and a major cause of the jealousy I feel!

I’m glad you stitched Gardenia. I had been wanting to see how she looked stitched up. I hadn’t really noticed her much until I started making little cards to decide on a layout for the BAPP (Big Ass Pixie Project). I love all her bling!

A wonderful update! The stitching is gorgeous! I love it when a project stitches up quickly. Those are wonderful between those harder to finish ones and they give you that “finish high” we all need sometimes.

Missy, I just found your blog. I love your stitching. You sure did get a lot done. I’m much slower. And I can’t wait to see your bag. The fabric you picked out is beautiful. Wish I could make one.
